Happy Father’s Day 2022 – Art Espinoza

Dear Dad, there are so many things I could say about you and how much you mean to me. But most of all, I want to say just how thankful I am for you and the amazing impact you have made on my life.

I love all of the many amazing memories we share like all of our sailing trips to Catalina and fishing off the docks (even though I’m pretty sure I never caught anything), our road trips to national parks and our many trips to Disney. I’m thankful for all of your help in school with math and science. Thank you for always being patient with me – I know I wasn’t the most cooperative, especially when it came to algebra.

You have been an amazing example of how important it is to trust the Lord and His plans even during uncertain times. Thank you for guiding me and praying with me through some of my crazy teenage years and for always giving me good advice, even if it took me a while to apply it. 

Thank you for being one of the biggest role models in my life, for being one of my favorite people to laugh with, for teaching me how to apologize and forgive, and for being my favorite ride buddy at Disney World.

I told Mom when I think about the kind of man I want to marry, I know I want to marry someone just like you. Someone who is kind, selfless, patient, loves the Lord, and will love and care for me the way you love and care for Mom. 

I feel like the luckiest daughter in the world and growing up with you as my Dad has been the most fun, joyful and exciting experience. I love you so much. Happy Father’s Day!
